The fire alarm went off every night I was here at about 0200. The desk staff was unhelpful for the most part, and the hotel is not very clean given the price you have to pay for the hotel. However, it is literally located right next to the Heineken Experience and a five minute walk from the museums and the Leidseplein.
Very good location with the tram outside and good service, but too small rooms and needed a new carpet and vacumming and painting, clean beds.
Newly furnished room with three single beds, cable tv, telephone and wireless internet acccess. Rooms with canal or garden view. Some of the rooms with balcony.
Newly furnished room with 4 beds, cable tv, telephone and wireless internet acccess. Rooms with canal or garden view. Some of the rooms with balcony.
No lift, had to walk up 5 floors. Breakfast was ok. Good location, walking distance to the city centre.
customers need to be advised that the only 4 bed room is on the 5th floor and there is no lift available. You need to be fit to climb the stairs!
The hotel was indeed nice located very close to many of the towns atractions. However, the hotel was not very clean, and if you decide to stay here, make sure that you get a room with windows, preferably too the back of the house. There are several rooms that are located in the middle of the house with no windows and no a/c. On the other hand, the staff is very service-minded and friendly. Not too expensive, but could have been cheaper as well.
Some rooms didn't have windows that could open. In a hot summer like this one a real catatrophy... Without any problem we could place our bikes in the garden, althrough we had to go through the breakfastroom: a great service I think.
If you're going to Amsterdam for a few days and plan to just use this as a base, then a very good choice. Our room was quiet but spartan. Location, 10mins to leidseplein, on several tram routes, 15min walk to rembrantsplein, very good.
Not bad for a night, Right next door to Heinekan experience museum, well worth a visit
Nice friendly hotel, good location. Only major downside was the Quad room at the top of the hotel (5 flights of stairs and no lift). As we had luggage and 2 children it was hard work.
clean and nice.
Family owned hotel within walking distance to museums and perfect service, Tram to the center is just few steps away, this hotel with it price/quality is the best! Had very pleasant stay! will recommend it to all friends!!
Very helpful and friendly staff, close to excellent range of shops and restaurants. The room and bathroom were a little small but then, I only slept and changed in there.
The staff was friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
A nice Hotel particularly for location right on the Tram route so touring the city centre is easy.
Good value for money.
Located right next to the Heineken brewery, and just around the corner from trams 16 and 24 from Central station. Breakfast was pleasant, the room was clean and the people were friendly. Give it a go.
Very good value for money. The Breakfast contained everything we desired. The Staff members were most friendly and helpful.
for people who doesn like hotels.you will feel like at home!!!!
The room was rather small on the gorund floor and did not have a real window. It was also not that sound proof. But it was good value for money although it was slightly out of the way - not far from museums. The shower and bathroom facilities were great. Disappointed that I could not direct dial using the telephone line for my laptop. Would stay there again.
Hotel was a delight, for the money. New accomodations, friendly and helpful staff. Yummy chocolates at the reception desk. Rooms were quite small. The location was perfect for us-easy walking distance to De Pijp, The Museums, and Leidseplein. We actually were able to walk just about everywhere, only taking the easily accessible trams when it rained. Overall, a great stay at The Symphony Hotel Paganini.
