Taipa Square Hotel Macau

A spacious hotel after staying in Hong Kong Hotel. Room was big, air conditioning is working fine.

A better than average budget hotel. Rooms are sparse , bed is a tad hard , tv channels limited but does not impart that cramped and worn feel. Service is adequate . Location is a strong plus, within a minute walking distance from super markets and local restaurants serving great local fares at low prices. A bigger plus is the frequent free internet access promotion. Internet charges are exorbitantly expensive at most hotels in Macau.

Pros: (1) Room and bathroom are clean (make sure you request for a NON-SMOKING room), (2) hotel is very near the bus stop and a supermarket. Cons: (1) Bed mattress is hard, like there is no mattress at all, (2) My 5 year old son was charged for breakfast (when kids usually eat free in other hotels). Over-all, it was a pleasant stay.

The place is ok. The service they provide is good. I can recommend to other friends the place. Its really nice.

very excellent: Clean room and Service of reception, bell boy and security guard have service mind, polite and friendly. Bad: don't have service bus to airport, and service bus should have every 15 min. (in present, every 1 hour).

Room service responded fast. Rooms and linens are clean. Toilet very clean! Very good room service! I was looking for the gym but no one at the 4th flr to talk to or assist.

Good hotel with a reasonable price though the beds were not that comfortable. Nice location, very accessible to public transport. Very good service.

The hotel located conveniently in Taipah Area where public bus station is nearby. Near Jockey Club Station. Overall it was a good stay for us and we would recommend it to our friends

As most people have commented the beds are very firm but I prefer firmer beds and had no problem sleeping. What was more of an inconvenience is the fact that the courtesy bus only runs between 10am and 7pm which given the fact the hotel is a bit out of the way means that you end up paying for taxi's all the time. Also the taxi drivers cannot speak or read any english/latin script so we had a lot of trouble getting to the hotel from the airport s we didn't have the address in mandarin.

it is good to give a coupon for visitor to try on playing the casino in the hotel.

My family stayed overnight in Taipa Square Hotel and this is my evaluation: Good: 1. The room was spacious. 2. The bellboy was very helpful. He attends to requests even if they are usually not covered by the hotel's service. 3. The non-smoking area was not smelly (if it smells, this is due to some guests who viotates). 4. The rates are cheap. Area for improvement: 1. Beds are hard. 2. People answering the phones at reservation should have better English communication skills. I emailed them about the bus service to the ferry and called them when we got at the ferry station. Apparently, she did not understand that we was at the Taipa Ferry station even if I kept saying we were there. We wasted aout an hour waiting for the bus to arrive at their designated parkng slot.

This is the first time that me and my wife stay in your hotel and we are very happy and comfortable with the stay and also the facilities provided. The price for the Hotel's stay is reasonable. Will book the same hotel again next time. Keep it up !

The room was very spacious and the hotel location was very near the airport and the Venetian.

Spacious room. Near to bus station - convenient for public transport to go around Macau and Taipa.

Beds are very hard and may not even had mattresses. There's a casino on the 1st and 2nd floors. Shuttle Service is to Macau Ferry Terminal (NOT the Taipa Ferry Terminal) or at least the service staff there seem to have 2 different versions (better check ahead). Rooms were very spacious, free internet was nice. Location not ideal for walking around, you need to know the Macau bus system. Restaurant had fairly good congee, seems most hotel restaurants are good in Macau.

Rooms were big and clean, had no issues at all. The free shuttle bus to the ferry was helpful, saved us on taxi fare.

1. I had difficulty getting a taxi to take us to the hotel from the airport because the hotel is too near the airport and so not worth their while. 2. Actually I didn't use any of the hotel facilities but the ones provided in the room were good except there was no hair dryer.
