"Excellent mid range hotel, with friendly and professional staff. The continental buffet breakfast was great. Excellent value for money hotel and close to sky-train (10-15 minute walk). On the sixth floor, there is located the Thai massage facilities, fantastic value and truly a relaxing experience. This is the second time we have stayed here and would stay again the next time we visit Bangkok. " - Anonymous


"Tai Pan is an excellent hotel, in a great location. My stay was unfortuneatly spoilt by unfriendly, rude staff on arrival. My Thai girlfriend was made to feel like a bar girl because she walked in with a western man. The staff were very abrupt. I didn't speak to the manager because I was too angry to be civil with him/her. My friend who also stayed there, felt they were rude too. Cannot fault the hotel itself, and the location. Overall I WOULD recommend the hotel, but suggest the staff go on a customer service course." - Matthew Thomas
