Getting there:From the North Head for the City Centre until you pass the Airport, approximately 1 mile past it take the exit off for the M50 - Toll Bridge or all other routes. Turn right when you reach the end of this exit. You are now on the M50, keep going through the toll until you reach the Tallaght exit. Turn right onto the Tallaght by-pass and continue for approximately 1 mile and then you will see the Plaza on your right. From the South Turn right off the Naas Dual Carriageway at Newlands Cross onto the Belgard Road. Turn right at The Plaza Hotel at the end of the Belgard Road, entrance to The Plaza Hotel is situated at the rear of the complex. LUAS With the LUAS Tallaght stop only a short walk from the Plaza Hotel. Why not avail of free secure car parking at the Plaza Hotel for guests staying, the city centre is only a 25-30 minutes ride away.

Loved the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel, very friendly and efficient staff.
Good value, but a long journey from the city centre by public transport and not in one of the cityys best suburbs
Nice hotel, limited amenities. Not very suited to familes but adequately resourced. We had to be moved around three times to a new room as the first room we were given was too small for a baby cot, the second had a disabled persons bathroom, not really suitable for a family and was affected by noise from the traffic of the dual caariageway outside the front of the hotel. In the end we got a lovely room at the back of the hotel suitable for a family. Staff are excellent and extremely courteous and friendly. Very helpful.

A nice hotel if you don´t mind the tramride. Tallagh is the last stop on the Luas tram going south. Then you continue in the same direction across the parking lots and you have the hotel a little bit down to the right. It could be a little bit far from the tramstation if you have a lot to carry.
I have stayed in the Plaza Hotel three times. Last time I used it for a concert in Marlay Park (The Who). It's a typical business hotel, clean, good food, good service. The bedrooms are a good size and clean. The decor in the bedrooms need a makeover, their showing their age. Overall a nice hotel well situated on the Southside of Dublin.
