Hotel rooms we stayed in are in need of refurbishment, such as creaking doors and old bathrooms. For the price (US$50 or more) in Indonesia, better in-room facilities are expected like room slippers, coffee & tea making facilities, toiletries (instead of just shower gel & shampoo). Electric jug was provided only on request. The hotel surroundings are what sets it apart. Fantastic gardens and foliage. Great and very friendly service from the staff.
Nice artistic sanctuary hidden near Ubud.
located over 2 floors, choose either ground level room or upper level room. Bathroom with bathtub & shower, terrace with garden view.
Nice rooms in lovely gardens. Excellent staff, all very friendly and helpful. A bit far from town but a free all-day shuttle service solved that problem. A nice restaurant with good food and reasonably priced. The pool is nice but needs more shade, and more comfortable lounges. All in all very good value, I will certainly return and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
very good atmosphere , little bit far from ubud but have free transfer (i didnt use), breakfast was ok(not buffet),free wireless but charge for PC, nice pool i love it and reccommend
Taman Harum means 'fragrant garden', and we were very pleased with our choice. Although it is quite a distance from Ubud (just south of Mas), the free shuttle service was available on demand, and we were able to enjoy the quieter location by the rice padi. Breakfasts were very good, and we also dined there one night and were pleased with our meal. Our villa had ample space, and was very comfortable. We had our own little elevated bale, with a view over the rice fields, and loved to sit out there at night and listen to the bullfrogs. The plumbing was not perfect, but we figured it, and even had a couple of late night soaks in our outdoor hot tub. Its pool is small, which wasn't a problem, but it could do with a little more shade. We did not take advantage of any of the extra services such as woodcarving and cookery lessons, partly through not finding time, but also these seemed overpriced by Balinese standards. We would be very happy to go back to Taman Harum on our next Bali trip.
great setting. beautiful gardens. top food. courtesy bus service to shopping centre very frequent. beautiful furniture in rooms but air conditioning not too good.
Landscaping is very interesting and pleasand. Location even thought not good but free shuttle to Ubud is very helpful. Hotel driver are very helful.
The sructure of the building is superb as you can really feel the balinese style of living. The weak point of the hotel is, there's too many mosquitoes no matter day or night.
A nice hotel with friendly people and real Balinese rooms in a beautiful green, green garden. Great location for people who are into nice wood carvings. The wood carving gallery there is great...worth visiting.
Great location looking over the rice fields. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
