Getting there:From Sydney, follow the F3 freeway. At the roundabout at the end of the F3, follow the Pacific Highway signs. About 45 minutes north, passed Raymond Terrace and Karuah, you turn right along the Myall Way into Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest. The Motel is off Yalinbah Street, right next door to the Country Club.

Car parking:Off street car parking is available.

The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming and the facilities very clean and comfortable, and quite roomy. The motel backs onto some lovely bushland and is a few blocks form the waterfront.
Love the spaciousness! Nice friendly staff!! But would appreciate if they specify that Tea Garden is 1 hour by ferry to Nelson Bay(capital of Port Stephen), so that we can do a better trip-planning. The motel location kinda limits our activities at Nelson Bay because we need to catch the earliest ferry(10am) to Nelson Bay and latest ferry back to Tea Gardens(330pm). In the end, we only had 11am till 3pm to hurry through our activities. Would recommend the stay if you are touring mainly Tea Garden & Hawk Nest of Port Stephens. Thanks for the wonderful service!!

The service from the owners was excellent, really nice and friendly people. The rooms were clean and the location is good. The only thiong that would be better would be food and drink on site.
Was thoroughly impressed with the friendliness of the owners. The room was very nice and spotlessly clean. For an older establishment it was very good and value for money.

My wife and I enjoyed staying at this motel as its location and surroundings are very peaceful. Out the back we were sourrounded by tranquil bush land where we could sit and enjoy the cool night of an evening. During the day after enjoyable days at the beach we could come back and sit by and swim in the beautiful salt water pool, which was kept in very clean condition. Overall we enjoyed our two night break very much.
