Getting there:The main route to Gisborne is via State Highway 2 from either the north or south. As you approach Gisborne, simply follow the signs guiding you towards the "City Centre". TEAL Motor Lodge is the closest motel to town on the left hand side as you approach the city. Alternatively you may decide to drive around the East Coast’s scenic "Pacific Coast Highway" (State Highway 35). As you approach Gisborne this highway becomes the city's main road, Gladstone Road. Simply drive along this road until you approach the property being the first motel on the right hand side.
Check-in Procedure:Check-in time is between 1pm - 9pm. Please contact the motel direct if you wish to check-in outside of these times.
Car parking:Free car parking is available right outside your unit.

We had a young child with us and found the hotel was a great place for a family. The facilities were excellent. The unit we stayed in was well equipped and the service was great. Big breakfasts too!
Relieving hosts were excellent - responded quickly and effectively to requests for help. Very helpful in suggesting dining options in town and forward accommodation on our trip. would gladly stay there again.

Good clean hotel with excellent bathroom. Could do with air-conditioning rather than a wall heater. Rooms were quiet and the continental breakfast was reasonable value for money. Needs a double power point beside the bed for the electric blanket.
Very good Motel, will stay again, most likely won't look around for alternatives because it was so good.
