"My friend and I planned an around the island trip in Taiwan, and spent approx. 2 nights in Taichung. The Landis is recently built (no more than 5-6 years), and is located just on the north end of the canal and european districts. The rooms were spotless, amenities great, and service absolutely top notch. We ended up paying around 150 a night, but anywhere else such a hotel would go for 200-300 a night.
