"Very nice, peaceful and beautiful place up on the hills (however NOT in Livorno but in Sassetta which is about an hour by car from the city of Livorno) In this hotel you can experience the romantic Toscana with a beautiful view. Situated in the Alta Maremma area of Tuscany, Tenuta la Bandita is a property of 55 hectares and extends along the hills above the Val di Cornia.

It is a few kms from the historic villages of Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri and the beaches of Marina di Castagneto and San Vincenzo which front the collection of island of the Tuscan Archipelago.

It is a magic place, characterised by the flora and fauna of the mediterranean juxtaposed with vineyards and olive groves.

SS1 Aurelia South - exit Donoratico
Follow signs for Castagneto Carducci.Once in Castagneto Carducci drive further for 6 km until a fork for Monteverdi Marittimo. Here turn left for Monteverdi (NOT Sassetta) and find after 1,5 kms the entrance of la Tenuta on the right.Continue for 600 m until the main Villa.
