Hotel Ter Brughe is situated along one of the most picturesque Brugean canals in the peaceful old quarter of St.Gillis. You will find the hotel near the 14th century Augustine Bridge. The house has been built in 1553 and is now a listed building. That’s also the reason why you will not find a lift in the hotel. The oldest part of the hotel is the vaulted cellar. Built originally as a warehouse for goods which were brought here along the canals, it serves today as a magnificent setting for your buffet breakfast.

Getting there:If you come by train, you have following options: - Walking from the railway station into the centre takes a 25 minutes to reach the hotel. - By taxi takes a 10 minutes. The cost will be between 8 Euro and 12 Euro; Depends on the traffic. - By bus: bus numbers 4 and 14 stop at one street from the hotel. You need to get off at the Jan Van Eyck Square. Then you go through the Spanjaardstraat. At the end of that street, you’ll cross a little bridge and you’ll see our hotel at your right hand side along the canal. You could buy a ticket on the bus.

Car parking:The building disposes of some covered parking lots with key at the rate of 15 Euro / night. Important: first request availability and then, when there is a garage available, reserve your garage in advance. Reserved garages are available from 2pm on the day of your arrival till 11am on the day of your departure.

Rooms need more touch from an arcitech. But building is soo nice!
I really liked the hotel but rooms are not very nice
The location was perfect. Close enough to the popular sights, but far enough away from the noise of the city center. The hotel itself is beautiful with 'old world' charm. I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is about the pillows on the bed. They were awful.
Splendid location - quiet, but easy walking distance to the centre. Fine facilities and staff for what is a small hotel with a pleasant old world atmosphere.
The hotel's very lovely. We had a room with canal view and we liked it. There was a little problem with Internet access but staff helped me to get info from their PC.
