"As we were touring and visited this hotel as an overnight stop, not using the spa facilities (which, in any event had additional costs) we found it very poor value for money. The Sunday evening meal was a buffet, most of the food did not look particularly appetising and was lukewarm. We stayed at 7 different hotels during our tripo and this was the most expensive and the least value for money. " - Anonymous

The Real Balneario de Carlos III,was inaugurated on 1 August 2005. 86 fully fitted rooms, safety deposit free of charge, mini-bar free of charge, all with balcony, views of the Forest and direct acces to the spa. Active Pool:with large glass window looking over the river Tagus (Tajo), a Terma Romana: humid and dry saunas circuit combined with pools at differents temperatures, a Children,s Poll: or chisldrens,s spa and an open air Thermal Spring With Pebbles. Restaurant semi-Buffet service( The first dich is a buffet, and the second can be selected directly by the guest over a computer screen, with the option of choosing the accompaniments. and this is served at the table), conference halls with a maximum capacity of 200 persons and a wine cellar. One of the advantages is its proximity to Madrid, one hour by car and with a free bus service, making it not just a holiday resort but also a Day Spa. Spa Cuisine: In wich the foods is preared with the minimum possible fat, with an emphasis on fresh produce, wholemeal pasta, wholemeal rice, vegetables...Traditional Dishes based on produce from the region and prepared in the traditional style. |

Coming from Madrid: The A2 (Madrid Zaragoza) motorway in the Zaragoza direction and take exit 101 Cifuentes. In the Cifuentes direction you arrive at a roundbout and continue along to the N-204 towards Cifuentes. Leaving Cifuentes, continue to the rioght along the N-204 direction Sacedón (Follow the sign towards the spa(Balneario)). In Gárgoles, Km 41, turn to left towards Trillo on the CM-2115 (Follow the sogn to the Soa). Once in Trillo follow the sings to the Spa. |
