if you stay here don't use the phones. They wanted to charge use US$1.50 per minute for calls. We spent almost $40 on a couple of calls. Such a rip off. Also, the windows of the room face the dinning room with little or no sealing so you can hear people having breakfast at 5 am in the morning. Not good if you want to sleep in.
This hotel is defenitely worth the money. Excelent service, free Wifi, Cable TV, a complete buffet breakfast is included. In a quite street in the old centre of town, not far from the Main Plaza. We paid $70 for a double room.

extremely friendly staff, and very accomodating....we had a 16mth old and they were very helpful to ensure that we were all comfortable during our stay. excellent location to catch train for Machu Picchu....2 mins walk to station but still very quiet.
Meals were excellant
Excelent Service.
The fare is related with the service and hotel's category.
We located near the station. Nice lounge area. Fair breakfast Helpful travel "desk" even if the tours are a little expensive.
The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. When we arrived at the hotel we were invited to sit down and have Coca tea to help with the adjustment to the altitude. The staff brought everything to us related to the check in. Our bags were taken to our room as we sat sipping our Coca tea. The cost of the room included a very nice breakfast with a good selection of fresh fruits, yogurt, cereals, and omlettes made to order.
Terra Andina is attempting to copy some of the better known Cusco hotels but doesnt quite get there. There were a number of little faults with the booking and with some of the equipment but the staff tried hard and without complaint. The rooms are quite noisy because most face onto the inner courtyard where meals are served and guests are welcomed on its marble and stone floor. There was no desk in the two rooms I was in to use a laptop or write postcards. Minor things really
Our entire family was quite impressed with the Terra Andina. We stayed at the hotel twice and enjoyed it both times. You are treated well and the staff is quite professsional. The breakfast served was the best that we had in all of Peru.
A very nice hotel extremely convenient for the train station to Machu Picchu. Also a relatively short walk from the main plaza. Service generally good although a bit slow at times. Good breakfast. Excellent value for money dinner menu available. Free internet access.
Great Stay at Terra Andina. The staff are especially friendly and willing to help with any situation. Highly recommend!
Very friendly staff
Excellent service. Staff speak good english and are most helpful. Very close to Machu-Picchu station but a fair walk to town (however taxi charge is 2 solas anywhere: tip - do not ask the price just give them 2 solas).
Very good & quiet room on the 3d floor (some rooms without window on the 1st...). Weak point: breakfast includes good fruitjuices & fruit, but no natural yogurt, no toaster, no ream choice of bread (on the only point of brakfast, Casa Andina is better)
Yes, stay here. We stayed 2 nights and found it to be comfortable. Slim breakfast (included) but great atmosphere. Stay with 100% confidence. But ask for "Matrimonial" instead of a double if you want more than a twin bed.
Excellent hotel with wonderful staff. The only suggestion for improvement would be to add some more variety to the breakfast.
