Thai House Beach Resort Samui

Good value hotel in good location. Excellent service. Staff were friendly and helpful. Especially staff at the beach who were very helpful in finding empty sun lounge or setup another one if they are full.

Nice hotel, great bungalows. But Lamai beach is not nearly as nice for swimming or lounging as Chaweng Noi. If you have a choice and like bumming on the beach, choose Chaweng Noi, there's a great hotel there ([other hotel name]).

We stayed 3 nights in Family garden room in July, 2007. The room is quite big but furnished with low quality furnitures, we had big problem to turn on / off the water tap in the bathroom coz it was so hard and when we turned it off, the water was still running a bit all the time. The pool is so small and if you go to either the pool or the beach a little later then you don't have anywhere to seat. I would recommend you reserve the chairs with your towel before having breakfast otherwise you have to wait until the evening. The location is great though just located on the beach but the beach here is very rough comparing to chaweng. The best thing here would be staffs, they're quite friendly and helpful.

This is the second year that we have stayed at this resort (beach front villa), which is of excellent value, providing a very friendly environment with good staff and a great location - highly recommended.

Fantastic resort. Staff were very helpful and the rooms were beautiful and well maintained. Although the pool is small, it was more than enough given the resort is on the beach.

Some of the staff at the coffee shop should do something with their attitude problems. They don't seem happy the whole time. Other than that everything else was good. The beach was nice.

This is a friendly hotel in a good position on the beach. Nice pool and dining room. The rooms are clean and comfortable but most have very poor views. Our first overlooked the street even though it was a 'garden/beach' view with no beach or garden in sight. We moved to a better one but still not a great outlook. If the view from your room is not vital then this is a good value hotel.

Overall very satisfied with my stay in one of the beach villas. Good location and nice restaurant. Beds and pillow were a bit hard (Japenese version) and pool was on the small side. Poolside 1 hour massage was good.
