Perfection, incredibly friendly staff, excellent cuisine and setting.
Setting magnificent, staff sensational, food A1. Suggestions-real plastic glasses at Herbies Hut ( maybe a happy hour as well ), mugs not thimbles in room for tea. Highly recommended and would definitely return and will soon
Subtly appointed, spacious, airconditioned, privately located deep amongst rainforest. Beautiful Australian timber & granite has been used throughout creating an ambience reflecting the natural pristine environment.

Highly recommended. Will go there again.
The staff were excellent, extremely friendly and helpful. The dining room was above average with excellent meals. I can recommend the location to anyone
Beautiful hotel and the service was excellent. The private beach is stunning and it was a great place to go for a relaxing couple of days.
Brilliant for people who like be away from the popular beach and tourist spots, but want a bit of nature and a bit of solitude all in well presented surroundings.
Beautiful setting. Great staff. The food is lovely, but it is quite pricey - Mains $40. Plan to eat in Port Douglas if you are having an extended stay (It's about half price in town, but obviously not as convenient as eating in.)
The level of service and staff is exceptional
Great for relaxation, beautiful spot and very good service.
This hotel is secluded with beautiful surroundings and friendly staff.
Beautiful site set in lots of trees, very discreet service and fantastic food. Try the picnic baskets!
Beautiful location with direct access to private beach, where we swam every day by ourselves. (Ask for a room with a view of beach.) Rooms are in individual elevated bungalows that feel like tree houses. We loved being able to leave our balcony doors open all the time and feel the cooling coastal breezes. Most suitable for couples, as there isn't much for children to do.
Best hotel in region! Little expensive, but worth it.
Wonderfully perched on a hill top overlooking the Coral Sea with several small trails leading to different bungalows and down to the beach. Far away from any of the local towns, so the beach is pretty much your own private sanctuary.
Awesome! If you are looking for a quiet little getaway - this is it. Five star in every way.
