Thalgara is a small family run vineyard and winery in the heart of Pokolbin in Hunter Valley Wine Country. Getting there:From Sydney travel north on the F3 freeway and exit at the Cessnock and the Vineyards signs. Travel to Cessnock and follow the vineyards signs through town and out to Pokolbin via Broke Road. For more information please do not hesitate to contact us.

Enjoyed our stay the small outdoor area you get is perfect for watching the sun go down whilst drinking a bottle of Chardonay

The accomodation and situation was fantastic. The facilities were excellant, private with a beautiful vista. It was very central to everything in the Hunter region. The hosts were very helpful and not inrusive or pushy. A suprise for us was the complimentary continental breakfast and a tri-pack sample of their own wines. this should be mentioned as its not on the itinerary. Their wines was honestly one of the best we tried in the whole region. Definetely recommend this place to others and stay again!!!!!
