"Location is the only asset this hotel has. Service is quite below average as some staff are rude and requests have to be made numerous times before it is attended to. Room service is only available until 10:30pm and you must be able to speak Thai to be able to order anything from the menu. You will also need to time your showers as there is only hot water between 8am - 9pm. Rooms are quite average which will be a disappointment if you have paid $190 AUD per night. Hotel Description:    Thara Patong Beach Resort & Spa is located in the very heart of Patong Beach. The hotel has 171 rooms, each room looks out on the serenity of the tropical gardens and pools from each private balcony. The Deluxe rooms in Tamarind Wing have both a Queen size bed and one single bed / The bathrooms have a separate bathtubs and showers. The ground floor rooms of Tamarind Wing have a very popular direct patio access to the swimming pool. The entire top floor is Non-Smoking. The One and Two Bedroom units all have a separate Living Room that includes a fully equipped mini kitchenette. Handicapped adapted rooms are also available.

With a superb combination of location, price and services. It is just only a short stroll to the beach, the bustling shopping and nightlife areas. The hotel has 2 beautiful free-form shape swimming pools. Located adjacent to the regular pools are our children's pool with fountains, slides and Jacuzzi - immensely popular with both children and parents alike. The Tamarind Pool features a big and safe children pool with waterfall, shower
mushroom, fountain, mini-beach and water-spouting whales. A huge tropical adventure pool with deep and shallow ends plus spa pools for the whole family to enjoy.

Getting There: Only 45 mins drive from the airport. Transport by Taxi or car and can be arranged through outlets located in the airport. However to avoid the complications transport can be aranged by the hotel on request.
Check-in Procedure: All guests required to provide;passports or ID cards and the credit card used for making booking. Early checkin is subject to availability. To guarantee an early arrival we recommend booking for the night before. Late departures may incurr a charge.
Car Parking: Off Street no charge. The Area is secure as we have 24 hour security guard at the gate.
Child Policy: Children under the age of 12 staying with parents and using existing bedding stay free. Additional bed/person 20USD
