hotel has everthinhg in place to be excellent and is well positioned for the races if a little outside the city centre. It is well served by a reular bus service to G alway. However there was a distinct lack of professionalism within the place. They appear to be short staffed to the point that on checking out the guy appeared to be juggling breakfast duties with reception duties. in addition credit card payment facility was not available. Overall it represented good value for money compared to prices for hotels in Galway for the time we stayed(bank hol and Galway races weekend) it just needs cetain details attending to.
Very good Irish breakfast and eveing meal in the pub. We were given a room above reception, which was fairly noisy despite requesting a quite room! The guy on reception did his best to find us an alternate room but this was difficult as hotel was full over Easter
The staff very extremely polite helpful and friendly. everyone really enjoyed the stay.
