The hotel is good. It has good location, and public transportation can be used easily.
Very nice. But their electronic adaptors are too "rare" that we don't get them in the first day I live in.
Private room with shared bath/washroom Ladies' Floor is for female guests access only. Male guests are not allowed to access the Ladies' Floor.
Private room with shared bath/washroom.
Single room with private room
Private room with private bath/washroom.
Room Spacious to add an extra bed at daily HK$165 but subject to availability and confirmation
The shower stall & toilet was amazingly clean - spotless tiles & clean smelling. Food at the Cheer-O Cafe on the ground flr was good too, at very reasonable prices. Had a really satisfying stay thanks to the helpful staff, clean facilities & good location.
Very good value for money. The room and furnishing is old but clean. Size of room is reasonably big considering most hotel rooms in HK are shoebox sizes. It is a rather long walk to the MTR station but busstops nearby provides adequate coverage. There's free wifi in the lobby area.
Booked the Ladies floor but was given the common floor. Room is nice, clean and spacious. I will stay again.
Good value for money. Only bath towel, no face towel. Noice from both outside and room above. Directory within room woefully incomplete.
This hotel was not what I expected. The location was good. It was very close to the bus stations and MTR stations. However, I thought the hotel was a little over priced considering that the furnitures/bed are quite old inside the room. I think the rooms need to be renovated and all furnitures need to be replaced.
clean but not convieniant because the rest room is outside.
The room I have got this time is a Standard Twin Shared Room with Shared Bathroom. It misleaded me that Shared Bathroom meant for shared bathroom for two people instead it meant public shared bathroom, I think you should make that very clear to say it is "publec shared bathroom" and not as just "shared bathroom".
Hotel was a bit old but room was very clean and the staff was generally courteous. Great location if willing to do some walking, 10 - 15 minutes to MTR stations, surrounding shopping and foods. Minor inconveniences, two very small lifts stopping at alternate floors and had to request for bathroom floor towel on a daily basis (room with attached bathroom).
a home away from home and near to almost everywhere and everything you want to do in Hongkong
The place need to walk further from MTR, Suggested for youngster or couple to stay. there a bus no 5M to access the hotel with interval every 30 minutes depend on the traffic.the nearest waiting point is in front of lady market at argyle st. The place is clean but i feel there bug in the bed bite me.the service is good for a guesthouse.
Very far from MTR station... Need about 15-20 minutes walk to the nearest mtr. Every other thing is OK, just far.
Spartan, dorm-like, but relatively spacious room with two single beds. Aircon wasn't working well (not cool), but it didn't bother me enough to ask for a change of room. Location is slightly inconvenient for public transport since you have to walk down a short stretch of hill/staircase to take a bus, but it's only 10-15mins walk from central Mongkok so you can stroll back to your room after late-night supper or entertainment there. Reception was good at English and allowed me to check in early, at about 9+am, because there was a room free. Overall, a good value for me because I got a HKD330 rate despite booking only 2 days in advance.
i enjoy the stay in the Anne Black YWCA Hotel Hong Kong, clean, safe and simple.
for this price and location, it is a good choice for budget travellers. dun expect too much out of this hotel. service was professional and polite. the brown sheets of blankets were heavy with dust mites and their wastes, thus aggravating my sinus problems. however, service staff attended to my request promptly by changing the sheets and tweaking the blanket configurations. although bathroom was outside the room, both male and female bathrooms were kept clean. highly recommended for budget travellers.
Best value you can find in HK. I always stay here.
best price in hong kong for a decent place to stay - clean efficient and friendly - the only drewback was lack of a bathroom in the room - i would stay there again if on a tight budget
The hotel was good though it's quite old already. Spacious room and very affordable price too. The restroom though is not very nice. The restaurant serves delicious food. But its a nice place to sleep after a long day of visiting Hongkong.
It's being an honour for me to provide some views about The Anne Black YWCA Hotel, Hong Kong 1. Great price and convenience especially for middle class income and newly wed couples. 2. Close to city centre, access to major transport system and save lots of times and hassles. 3. Put your worries away and enjoy your trips and safety unless you stay at The Anne Black YWCA Hotel Well done and i give a four stars. All the best
