We booked 2 rooms in this very comfortable & modern hotel for the start of our family's Japan trip. The rooms were small but this is expected in Japan. It was clean and comfortable. The rooms came with buffet breakfast which was great for us. There were free internet in the small but well laid out lobby, good for checking emails. The free coffee in the lobby is way better than those they served during breakfast. The location though is not very convenient as this hotel sits on a hill, so depending on which subway exit you come out from, you either walk uphill or climb some steep stairs. It is not a very long walk, 5-7 mins perhaps but with kids and after a long day of sightseeing... I will stay here again but minus the kids.
pleasant stay, big rooms with nice bathroom
The staff at the B Akasaka were very helpful and friendly they went through great lengths to make our stay there comfortable and enjoyable we will definitely be staying at the b Akasaka when we next vicit Tokyo
My room was comfortable but compact - it was perfect for me for a stay of a few days - if you stayed longer you might want more room. overall i was very happy with the hotel
Ideal base for tourists, rooms were small, but very clean and comfortable.Staff helpful, and polite, would stay here again.A room safe would be helpful for the future.
Excellent hotel. Good quality for a reasonable price. Unfortunately the breakfast was not inlcuded in the price.
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, and the hotel was clean and in a pretty good location (10 minute walk to Akasaka main street, with lots of restaurants and tube), but the room was laughably small - only a step up from a capsule hotel, with about three inches of space around the bed, and a low ceiling. It felt like a nice, clean prison cell. We subsequently went to another hotel, which was in a much better location and which offered us a room four times the size (no exaggeration) for only 2,000 yen a night more. This hotel is overpriced. Apologies to the very kind staff, but my recommendation is not to stay in this hote‚ŒB ‚’
The B Akasaka was slightly hard to find but it was still in a convenient location close to two different Tokyo Metro subway stations. The twin rooms are normal size by Japanese standards. One thing to note is the bathroom is enclosed by semi-opaque glass and not a separate room. A sliding door in the room leads to the enclosed bathroom space. Bathrooms include above average toilets and showers as well as the usual complementary razors, combs, and toothbrushes.
