"Overall, this was a pleasant stay.
The location is brilliant if you want to be in the centre of the city. The reception isn't great, as it's just at the back of the bar, but it serves the purpose.
There are a lot of stairs, so if you're not able enough for stairs, this isn't for you - I don't think there's a lift.
The room was nice, the bed was comfy, and the shower was really good. We were in the John Logie Baird suite, which has a lot of character, as I imagine the rest of the rooms do - all different I believe.
The breakfast was very good.
I would recommend to people who aren't looking for a flashy modern hotel, this isn't that, but it has character and is very central." - Anonymous
"Very odd decor and furnishings in the room (including the skeleton of a small animal in a case and large moths and insects in frames on the wall). Not a pleasant room to stay in and very limited facilities elsewhere in he hotel." - Anonymous
"A great hotel with lovely indivdual rooms. Staff were very friendly and most helpful. Breakfast was 1st class. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending it." - Sally Payne
"This hotel is fine, but it does not have a lift there are seventy nine steps in total." - Anonymous
