Hat Yao is a long and yet unspoiled beach, located just 25 minutes from Krabi's international airport. The general area is underdeveloped and peaceful with the only communities being local fisherman villages.
Our resort is located on a virgin beachfront land covering 1.5 acres or 4 Rai in Thai measurement.
Altogether 14 private bungalows and 3 beach villas where each of is surrounded with its own terrace, garden and even a private pool on our beach villas.
The owner was inspired by a meanwhile famous movie starring Leonardo di Caprio and the simplicity of its name The Beach henceforth our resort is carrying the same simple name.
The former Movie is based on The Beach, a 1996 novel by Alex Garland which is one of the favorite books of the owner.
In fact The Beach was filmed at a nearby beach stretch called Maya Beach which is close to Phi Phi Island which can be reached by boat from the resort within 40 minutes. |
