The Quality Hotel Norwich is situated close to the A47 Southern Bypass and only 3.5 miles away from Norwich City Centre. Getting there:Travelling from A11, A140 and A146, follow signposts to Norwich A1074. Drive down to the double roundabout and turn right at first roundabout, then straight over second roundabout, follow road for approximately 1 mile and the hotel is located on right at the next roundabout.

Room we stayed in was looking a bit past it's best. Bed was extremely uncomfortable both myself and husband got hardly any sleep and woke up feeling tired/headache and totally un-rested (Pillows were very flat and no spares in the room). The bathroom could def do with a refurb (very dated) but clean. Toiletries very basic/disapointing. Considering it cost the same as a 'Holiday Inn' (def lacking all the little extras). Breakfast was a bit hit and miss (when we arrived halfway thru breakfast service) there were 'No' Eggs/No Coffee/No Pastries and warm yogurt, the cooler cupboard was not on and the fresh fruit salad was plated up in little bowls and brown - very unappetising looking!. Wouldn't bother to stay here again! Not good value for money. PS - we are not fussy people REALLY!
Check in, room and breakfast were excellent. However, the TV picture in the room was poor. I could not make the shower work properly, and the bed was very soft. However, all in all, for the price I was satisfied.
My wife and I decided to take our son away on the last day of half term, we got a great deal on the net. We had a great time at the Quality Hotel and would definitly recommend it to our family and friends, we would'nt hesitate to go back.
lost a passport which was found by a waiter and returned to reception. He then served us at breakfast, and asked if we had collected the passport. Very efficient.
Clean, quiet and friendly service. Directions to find could be better.
carpets grubby. room reeked of smoke. breakfast 1st morning everything overcooked or over heated. black pudding leathery hard and overheated and not replenished for 40 minutes. scrambled eggs grossly overcooked/heated and coloured green. fried eggs one overdone effort with whites showing green colour on hot plate for ages. staff told need for more fried eggs and scrambled eggs took half hour from first request. 2nd morning breakfast everything very good. Unfortunately for the staff they had to contend with a difficult and rowdy wedding party. had it not been for poor breakfast first morning , service would have been marked higher because the visible staff were excellent.
The Gym was quite small but OK. Sauna & jacuzzi OK but the pool was out of action whist I was there.
Limited food menu. Housekeeping took away a towel each day. No Channel 5 on TV....missed CSI. Friendly staff.
Good breakfast! Hotel now begining to look tired and need of refurbishment, particularly the bedrooms.
