"We really enjoyed our stay.The food in the restaurant was great,massage was fantastic.We had a problem with something we washed in their washing machine that came out with terrible marks.They gave us a voucher to use in the gift shop which helped us feel better about the loss of the item.We thought that was a great way to deal with the problem.Very relaxing time.Would return." - Jenny Taylor

Getting there: Byron Bay is situated on the east coast of Australia, in Northern New South Wales, just 2 hours south of Brisbane's International airport and 1 hour south of the Gold Coast's Coolangatta airport.

By car, approximately 9 hours from Sydney. 2 hours from Brisbane. 1 1/2 hours from Surfers Paradise and 50 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport.

From the South
Leaving Ballina, take the Byron Bay turn to the right at the roundabout. Follow the road through Lennox Head and stay on this road until reaching The Byron at Byron on the right hand side of the road.
From the North
Follow the Pacific Highway for 45 minutes from Coolangatta and watch for signs to Byron Bay. Take the left exit on to Ewingsdale Rd and enter the Byron township. Cross the railway line and turn right at the main town centre roundabout. Follow the signs to Ballina until reaching Broken Head Road. Stay on this road until arriving at The Byron at Byron on the left.
Car parking: Secure car parking available.
