Very nice people at the desk and they were very helpful.There are many great restaraunts to eat around the neighborhood and the hot tub on the roof has a great view of Table Mountain and the sunsets at night.Excellent hotel I must say.

Very helpful staff. Bartenders were very nice; reception always made sure I was taken care of.

Located right in the middle of Cape Town Central Business District. Great breakfasts with eggs, veggies, bacon, smoked sausage and wors. Satelite TV in the cold weather was a great. My room was a bit small but I was travelling alone. Very comfortable bed as well as mid-size bathroom with spaceous bath. I would stay at Cape Diamonf Hotel and will not hesitate refering someone else.

the service(reception) is great, but the facilities needs serious improvement, there is no aircondition in the room i stayed in.

The location of the hotel is in the heart of the CBD which would reduce taxi fares if you don't like to walk. The staff are wonderfull. Unfortunately, no fridge in the room though I would daily grab a complimentary bucket of ice and enjoy a sundowner and the views from the roof top. I would definately book there for my next visit. I got the best rate through HotelClub.

Basic and small but renovated simple room just server the purpose of short stay in the middle of city.

Rooms next to lifts noisy. But very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient car parking facilities available.

This hotel is in a great location it you don't mind hearing sirens from the police or other public safety workers through out the day and night. But that's a part of city life. This hotel is set up more like an upscale hostel then a hotel. The rooms are outdated, with dingy towels, no climate control and cheap in room phone. If you just want a place to rest your head, this is it. If you are looking for a place to relax and feel at ease, keep looking.

Really good value central accommodation, but the exact location not for the faint hearted & the decor a bit much: free standing bath (no shower) & attempts at colonial Deep South feel not to all tastes! Expensive breakfast but lots of cheapish cafes etc closeby. No air con & my top floor room v. hot ... ask for one of the mid floor rooms. Everybody v. friendly & efficient & allowed me a late checkout. Good budget choice but not somewhere to send your maiden aunty.

Make sure you insist upon parking in a Cape Diamond Hotel Parking lot, especially if the night clerk tries to convince you to park elsewhere. Beyond that, the staff at the hotel was excellent.

Very convenient but no tea making facilities in our room or aircon/fans
