In keeping with the heritage architecture of the Nineteenth century and Victorian era, 26 accommodation rooms are decorated in the colonial style to compliment the original inn. Whether it be be for business or leisure, The Carrington Inn is a unique and enjoyable experience for all tastes. The romance and intimacy of The Carrington Inn is the embodiment of that country charm that supports a country wedding or special event. Our designated and purpose built 'Wedding & Events' Cottage with seperate lounge, outdoor courtyard and modern facilities, makes for a superb venue and can cater for up to 200 guests. The Carrington Inn Restaurant & Bar serves dinner from 5.30pm Wednesday to Saturday, lunch Midday 3pm on Sunday and breakfast 8.00am 10am Saturday & Sunday. To avoid disappointment, reservations are essential. *Please note that on Saturday nights there is a 3 course set price of $68 per person.

Getting there:
By Car we are a 2.5 Hour drive from Sydney, along the Federal Hwy towards Canberra, then turn left onto Bungendore Rd about 3klm past Lake George and Follow to Bungendore. When you arrive in Bungendore take the first right on to Molonglo St, at the roundabout. Then first left on to Malbon St. We are aprox 50mts on the right. Parking around the back (turn right on to Ellendon St). When Coming from Canberra, It is quickest to go down the Federal Hwy, then right on to Macs Reef Rd, right onto Bungendore Rd.

Check-in Procedure:
Early Checkin can be arranged by request, subject to availability. Hotel is to be advised if arriving late, so arrangements can be made for key pick up. Please note reception close times, Mon-Fri 7pm, Sat 6pm and Sun 4pm.

The room was spacious and comfortably fitted out. I enjoyed the overall experience however it was soured on the first night when I emerged from the shower and discovered that there were no towels in the room. I was lucky to catch the duty manager via phone before he turned it off and this resulted in a woman driving from half an hour away to provide me with the towels. She apologised on behalf of the hotel, and I was grateful that she had made the effort of driving so far at that time of night.

we were quite pleased when we saw our accommodation with a kitchen , crockery etc,although room 12 was very dark, light had to be on in day time, we asked for a 2nd wine glass at reception and told one would be sent around but it didn't come. We asked for a tea towel to dry our dishes but were told they were not provided. The facility only provided a breakfast pack at $10 with no list of ingredients , breakfast was available at weekends in restaurant but not when we were there, we asked if they could provide a toaster so we could get our own breakfast but they didn't provide these either which was very disappointing. The windows were hard to open to let in fresh air , the bathroom full of cobwebs and venetian blind very dusty. The bed was very comfortable and we had lovely bath sheets. . We really felt The Carrington could lift its game a bit as it is in lovely surroundings .
