This hotel is in a great location, behind Fortnum and Mason's and just minutes from Piccadilly Circus. There are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and even a Tesco nearby which was very useful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and even gave my husband a birthday cake when they heard it was his birthday. The restaurant was very busy at breakfast, the food was good and there was a reasonable choice although I have had better. I would definitely go back again.

The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Upon arrival we were offered an upgrade for 20 quid extra/night to have a corner room. This was necessary as this room was a good size with superior rooms being smaller which would be a concern. The bathroom was fantastic. The bed was not as comfortable as one would expect. The reception staff and concierge were fabulous. The buffet breakfast which included an a-la-carte menu was fantastic but the staff were poorly trained and inattentive, with breakfast being chaotic. The reception area is smaller than a 5 star hotel, so upon entering the hotel does not look much.

Good view if you can get a room overlooking London Eye (they are rare - only one in each level) in a upper level. Website says internet is free but that is only in the lobby. In the room you have to pay a lot - like 20 pounds per day for internet. Service is good - they had a room available for me even as early as 8 am. Cleaning is good but they do not seem to vacuum the room floor often. Very close to Buckingham Palace etc.

This Hotel is in an excellent location for many of Londons sights. Another plus is, if you want a good view of London book a room on an upper floor, you will not be dissapointed. The Hotel is not cheap, but for a treat I would recommend it. Good breakfast and service

Lovely hotel, really central, on Jermyn Street just behind Fortnum and Mason on Piccadily. We upgraded our room and had a lovely view out over London. Rooms really nice. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.

The location of this historic hotel is splendid; within walking distance of many important landmarks, shops and other places of interest in the elegant area of gentleman's clubs in St James's. The facilities are good and the hotel serves a wonderful breakfast! While not cheap, the hotel - in London terms - offers good value for money.

The staff was very cold. We asked for directions for something around the corner which would have taken him the same amount of time to tell us around which corner as it did for him to tell us that he did not answer those sort of questions and direct us to the concierge. the rooms are also incredibly small.

Very discrete entrance on Jermyn St, I walked past it not realising it was a hotel rather than the entrance to an office. Room was small but bed was very comfortable. Shower over bath is bad for tall people and sink was one of those silly modern upturned cones (very difficult to keep all the water in the basin). Restaurant was pretty good for pre-theatre dinner but bar in foyer is cramped and very overpriced even for a hotel.
