We are just a short walk from some of Prague's most impressive sights, including Prague Castle, the Royal Gardens, St. Nicholas Cathedral, Old Town Square, Jewish Town, and Petrin Hill. The guest rooms at the Charles Hotel Prague are furnished with Baroque-style furniture and restored panelled roofing beams. Between the beams, the ceiling has been elaborately painted with scenes of foliage looking down at the guests as they rest in their luxurious beds. Great location! Right near Charles Bridge and walking distance to Prague Castle and other tourist spots. Beautiful rooms, lots of space and very clean. Would definitely stay here again!
Really enjoyed the hotel, its location was perfect being near the Charles bridge but not noisy at all. We had an initial hiccup on the first night due to plumbing issues but these were attended to and our stay was enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoyed the real Prague experience.
The location is great, just 3 minutes' walk from the Charles Bridge. I stayed in the attic room 403. The lift only reaches the 3rd floor so I had to walk up to the 4th floor every time. Not a big problem for me. I travelled alone so the room was big enough for me but it might be a bit small for two people. The shower and the toilet were in separate rooms on either side of the door. They were ok, just a bit strange. The in-room free wifi was great (also there was a share-use PC at the lobby), and there was an air-conditioner in the room. I spent five nights there and it seemed that the sheet was changed on Day 4. Fresh towels every day, though. Breakfast was good, but the hot food was not hot enough. Overall a good experience, and no complaint, really.
A very good location hotel, clean, friendly service. My room had however not had a view from the window, which is sad in Prague. Internet facilities included, helpful staff.
Perfect location very close to Charles brige in the old town. Shopping streets and restaurants, sightseeing just around the hotel. The hotel is quite old, and you will enjoy it if you like gotic style decorated rooms. What i did not like - its noise which goes to the room from the streets, as hotel has old wooden windows.
