Getting there:The Cliff Ao Nang Resort is a Boutique Resort situated just a walking distance from famous Ao Nang beach and not very far from Nopparatthara National Park that overlooks the white sands of beautiful Nopparathara beach. I booked this hotel because of high review scores on tripadvisor.com. Yes, it's a small hotel with very friendly staff, however, you need to pay attention that: 1. Breakfast: you need to wait for 1 hour normally, especially you travel with friends. And you don't have many choice if you stay more than 3 days. Positive point is you can have breakfast in the front of your room, but the hotel is too small, there are no difference and I prefer to have it in roof or you will have breakfast together with other guests in the front of rooms... 2. Small: Hotel is nice but really very small. You have nothing to do sometimes. 3. High price: Not only for room price, but also for the massage and taxi. So finally we book the massage and taxi by ourselves

Great setting. Warm and friendly staff, who will make sure your holiday is great. Perfect to relax at the swimming pool, and not to far from the beach. We loved it.
Constraction sites and traffic noises disturbed in the morning.The staff very helpfull and exellent service with smile. Perfect hideout for privacy seekers who are bored to standard hotels suites.

This hotel has exceptional hospitality, even among Thai standards. The resort itself is about 600m from the beach but we found that this provided some needed distance from the constant noise generated by the longboates. The food was also exceptional, both the breakfast and the dinner.
The hotel is a magical place. It was perfect for us. It is farther than other hotels from the "center" of Ao Nang but we didn´t mind the walk (10 minutes). Also the outdoor bathrooms are fantastic but you have to be willing to live among nature, i.e. showering with frogs, grekos and other friendly little creatures.
