The Emerald Hotel Bangkok

Decent accomodations, good location made for easy commutes via the BTS. Food, however, was terrible. Bit overpriced considering much cheaper hotels nearby

The hotel seems to be situated in between 2 MRT stations and is also quite a walk to the nearest mall.

Value for money Hotel. Could have done better with an electrical kettle in the room.

A very nice hotel. This is my 3 visit to the hotel. The management staff have taken it upon themselves in assisting in checking in each time I have stayed there. The front office staff has a limited use of english so it helps. The rooms was well kept and clean. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Subway and a 15 minute trip to Sukhumvit. Which saves a lot of time compared to a taxi. The breakfast buffet was as usual good. A good variety for Asian visitor. Might be a little limited for most Americans or Europeans. A good value for the price of room and buffet.

For the price and quality of the rooms, this is a very nice hotel. I have stayed at the Amari Atrium Hotel and the Plaza Athenee' in Bangkok during the past year. The Emerald Hotel to me rates above the Amari Atrium Hotel in the quality, size, and comfort of the rooms for a lesser price. The facilities available at the Emerald Hotel are much better than the Amari Atrium Hotel, nicer internet access, more and nicer restaurants in the hotel.

Great hotel, great location, especially with the opening of the Bangkok MTR!

Excellent location half-way between the airport and city. Close to the expressway and new Bangkok underground. Have always been pleased with service and great value for money.

Excellent location with walking distance for fun, seafood, roadside market and shopping mall. Hotel has excellent free breakfast buffet to suit indiviual taste. Intertnet facilities, disco, lounge etc within hotel itself. This is my second stay in this hotel and will recommend it to others.
