kilarney is a great place to visit. Gleneagle has great entertainment for young and elderly. It is family friendly and very welcoming.
the staff were great. the hotel was very clean.
i found checking in very quick and efficient.great bars and shop facilities.one small crib, lack of tea/coffee making facilities.
The room was freezing and we asked twice to have the heating on it still wasnt. would put me off from booking again
i was very disappointed with this hotel. its in need of a overhaul the tiles are falling of the walls in the bathroom .there are no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms .the only good thing about this hotel is the entertainment .i wont be in a hurry to go back there
had a great weekend great entertainment will go back again
Great hotel. Fab free entertainment. excellent food and plenty of it. Highly recommend.
Overall hotel was good. The only problem was that its a bit dated but that not such a bad thing sometime.
i have stayed in the gleneagle a good few times and i think the standard has dropped as the room we stayed in was shabby and dull. On arrival the reception staff were quite busy but were a little unpleasant this may be due to the number of people checking in also the entertainment in the green room at night i thought was a safety and hygeine hazard first there was to many people in the room people were sitting in the walkways and if there had being an emergency i believe ther could have being an accidentthere were people dancing infront of the bar and they let a glass of beer fall and break and i with my back to them got beer all down the back of my shirt if i had being facing them it could have being a piece of glass i will not be visiting the gleneagl eagain due to this thank you
hotel provided entertainment in the bar until approx 2.30 am. Fine until someone got hold of microphone and decided to invite any Tom Dick or Harry to sing. Awful. We had to move out into reception area to avoid racket. Very cold in hotel although bright sunshine outside. Bedroom windows so dirty one could not appreciate the wonderful Killarney view. A bit overpriced for what you get.
beautiful hotel, great facilities very friendly staff. Food in hotel superb and very reasonable prices. great facilities also for children and very child-friendly atmosphere. A little distance from the town centre but to be honest you will not need to leave hotel as there is everything you need under one roof - a few pubs, great entertainment, shop, ATM machine even a bookies!!! Would highly reccommend!
reasonable standard hotel. Room size fine and facilities in room minimal. Staff friendly and generally good knowledge of hotel and Killarney town. Shuttle bus into Killarney a plus as parking can be difficult. Good parking facilities at hotel. Breakfast excellent however we had to wait 40 mins to get into breakfast room as everyone seems to appear at one time. Perhaps to extend breakfast time til 10.30 might be an option. overall enjoyed our stay.
The bedrooms were very clean, bright and spacious. The staff were very helpful at all times. The sports facilities are second to none. The entertainment is exellent with a great variety to suit all tastes.I would definately recommend this hotel.
The staff were some of the most friendly and helpful of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Whether it be enquiries or directions, they could not have been more accomodating.
The wireless facilty is not accessible from all rooms, so if it is important make sure to request a room with wireless at the time of booking.
