We had tickets to see the Jersey Boys so we chose the Grace Hotel due to it's close proximity to the Theatre Royal in King Street. The Hotel is located within an easy 3 block stroll to the theatre. We were lucky enough to find parking underneath the Hotel at approx $45 overnight (one Parking Station nearby was going to charge us $200 for an overnight - even for Sydney, that's a disgrace). The checkin staff were very pleasant and helpful, the King Size room spotless and quiet (make sure you ask for an inner facing room). The hot water had excellent pressure, and there was no waiting time for the lifts. We had a quiet drink in the upstairs bar (took advantage of the Happy Hour), and dinner in the restaurant facing York street. The food was delicious, nice wine and reasonably for Sydney standards - and the service good. Breakfast next morning was a relaxing experience - not too rushed or too crowded. Nice selection of fresh fruit, hot and pastries and good coffee. We didn't get a chance to use the health club or lap pool upstairs. The hotel is beautifully restored in a fantastic location, close to the Pitt Street Mall for shopping and city trains. It's an excellent hotel for tourists and Sydney-siders - thanks Grace Hotel. We'll definitely stay here again.
lovely hotel and staff. air conditioning could not be lowered so the room was quite warm. Other than that a delightful hotel, lovely amenities and the bar was fantastic. staff were wonderful

Good location
A beautiful, historic hotel in the heart of Sydney. Excellent location with a good gym and lap pool. The room was a good size, bathroom was a little small. It was a very quiet room with a comfortable bed. I was surprised that it was only listed as a 4 star.
Lovely hotel and rooms, though the bed wasn't exactly the most comfortable. Great location
Our stay at The Grace Hotel Sydney was not just an overnite stay it was an experience. Refurbished building not overdone or underdone - Kept as close to the original without compromising the modern day comforts - 10/10 great stay
I found The Grace Hotel to be in a good position to all facilities. We used the adjoining restaurant,Great service and food.. My reasoning for rating the Hotel facilities and service average was the fact that before booking we checked the available parking which we were told there was ample. When we arrived there carpark was full. After calling the hotel from the carpark and were given 2 other options which we found a short 3mins walk away which was fine as we only had light luggage but when we went to validate our parking ticket with the Hotel to receive our discount voucher we were refused as the hotel don't validate any other parking facilities . Pretty poor that a major Hotel can't accommodate there guests wehicles. We paid an extra $55.00 and had to cut our trip short so as not to pay another full day to see the sights of Sydney. We did complain but were told 1st in gets a park and after that to bad. We checked in at 12pm so considering it wasn't later in the day it was poor.
a beautiful art deco hotel. Rooms a bit spartan and could have been better provided with complimentary coffee, tea, biscuits etc. check-in/check-out was slow
Excellent location, great facilities and very clean. We stayed in a premium family room which was a good size for three adults.
The Grace Hotel has the most comfortable beds my wife and I have ever slept in whilst on holiday. The location of this hotel is superb. We have stayed here 4 times now and will continue to stay here whilst on holiday in Sydney.
Our stay was very pleasent. We never dined in so can't coment on the services of the food or bar. Very clean. The room was excellent. Location couldn't have been better. All in all a very nice hotel.
Really enjoy staying at your hotel! Beautiful rooms and great service.
Nice rooms and perfect location. Staff are helpful and friendly. However, don't expect much more than your room. The pool is below average for a hotel like this and no breakfast or parking will be included in the high price. If what you are after is a central location and nice spacious rooms, this will be enough for you, but don't expect more than that!
Have stayed here before - great location - staff are very helpful and efficient! Will definately stay again
What a great hotel in the heart of Sydney, with easy access to the shopping domain of sydney, trains are a block away, and a little further is circular quay. The restaurants in and around Darling Harbour are a must. This is the third time I have stayed at the Grace Hotel and still have not been wanting for anything. The service, reception, cleanliness is all what you would get in a five star. If you away for a relaxing weekend, well do yourself a favour and pamper yourself to the Grace Hotel.... mmmm the beds are great. Obviously you pay for the location, but it is well worth it, did I mention all the good restaurants in and around Darling Harcbour and Cockle Bay, additionally the markets at the Rocks are good to browse over. Would have no problems in returning to the Grace Hotel
The price per night AUD230 was steep, particularly when it wasn't including breakfast. Location is fantastic, so close to everything, and the rooms were great - although initially I was given a single bed room (so had to ask for a room change). Not bad, but definitely not a lot on offering for AUD230.
Excellent accomodation within easy walking distance to CBD,Darling Harbour..
Good CBD location average service and facilities - the pool is very narrow, cafe fairly mediocre
Wonderful Art Deco building which has retained all the features of the period. Great location especially if cruising from Kings Wharf, helpful, friendly staff. large rooms, would recommend to anyone.
