The Grand Bali Nusa Dua

We only had an overnight stay but the hotel was very good overall. Looks don't impress arriving in the district and at the entrance but inside is lovely, quiet and a very nice swimming pool, cocktail and dining area.

Amazing place .. nice a quiet location.. and recieved a free upgrade to the royal Suite

No room service after 10 PM.

I would give them a 5 out of 5 for their facilities and services, and especially the friendliness of the staff. Having been on the road for almost 30 years - staying in all kinds of places from cheap motels to 5-star hotels, I would rate The Grand Bali Nusa Dua, as one of the top 5 hotels that I have stayed at, worldwide. The rooms were extremely spacious and well appointed, but the real shocker was the bathroom. I cannot remember ever staying in a hotel that had such a huge bathroom. It was bigger than rooms in a lot of places that I have stayed at. Really enjoyed the pools, the shower, and the bath-tub. My kudos to the all the staff that we interacted with - bell-boys, front-desk, and especially the restaurant staff Widia and Yuni. Waiting to get back to bali and to The Grand Bali Nusa Dua AGAIN.

Great Hotel with a Great Swimmimg Pool. Very comfortable. We were very glad that we stayed at the Swiss Bali!

Excellent spacious room, huge bathroom with bath and shower, and quiet, close to 2 pools. Good breakfast included in the price. Friendly staff. Wi-Fi is expensive, minimum sale is 4 hours. This hotel has a free shuttle ride to the beach, you can go at: 8am, 10, 12, or 2pm and return at 12, 2pm, 4pm but make sure you have told the driver when you want to return to the hotel otherwise you will be walking back (25minutes). The restaurant is good but remember to add 21% to the prices in the menu (tax and service). If you walk down the road (10minutes) you can find much cheaper food and free Wi-Fi.

would repeat it again for sure. the room is comfortably HUGE!!, bathroom is beautiful balinese style (also huge with seperate shower, toilet and bath tub). though it's not right next to the beach, hotel provided shuttle to it's private area beach (abt 5 min ride), which is just perfect, giving you a chance to sightseeing the area as well. food is good. hotel is quiet, perfect for honeymooners or those who love privacy. staff is friendly and speaking good english. the only negative would be some of in-room facilities are old / warned out a bit. like shower tap was not firmed, TV is not the flat LCD! .. (not a big issue to us, as we prefer to be on the beach than watching TV anyway) Overall rating .. "2 thumbs up". definitely repeat the stay and recommend to others.. best 4star hotel indeed! cheers,

The biggest bathroom I have ever seen. Very nice garden and swimming pool but very quiet ( too quiet) and far from the beach ( shuttle). Good quality/price for a short stay.

The staff made our stay here very enjoyable with nothing being too much trouble - the most friendly staff we have ever come across. Half hour from airport at most. Good access to the internet available in their business centre with help if needed always on hand. Very big rooms and large beds with nice linen sheets for standard accommodation - rooms facing away from the sea do not get much breeze and need aircon on most of the time. Aircon takes several hours to get room cool but after that ok.No ceiling fans. Nice breakfast hot and cold and always plenty. Food/drink (hotel bar stand/staff)available on beach, good facility and clean. For bikes/walkers/joggers good flat and wide roads/pavements around nearby (vehicle fumes not a problem) - ask for route map from reception. Overall very good value but if you want the convenience of walking directly from your hotel onto the beach you will have to pay more at one of the other brand hotels.

This place is cool, nice and comfortable. However it is not located near the ocean.

If you want a hotel away from the maddening crowd, then choose this one ! Total relaxation. The hotel itself is wonderful, but may be too small for some, but the rooms are delightful and large. Do not rely on beach club to have towels, so bring the pool towels with you. The chef will cater for you if you have any special requirements, no matter how trivial - he will really make your stay special - just ask him ! Beware of "Timeshare touts" here and in the adjacent 'village'. Be prepared to explore the surrounding area - on foot is quite safe - if only to feel less isolated. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in, but very quiet, so if you like some nightlife, be prepared to get a taxi to Kuta/Legian/Seminyak. Perfect for quiet days lounging by the pools and being spoilt by the waiters ! Just try not to make too much noise at night when coming back from a boozy night out !
