Stylishly renovated terrace. Friendly and helpful staff. Welcoming reception/bar/cafe/breakfast room. Major advantage is the free wireless internet access throughout the hotel and a public notebook provided in the reception for easy access. Tram stop at the front of the Hotel and Gardens in 5 mins walking distance.

A lovely and intimate hotel, with friendly staff. A stones throw from Toorak Rd and Chapel St and a 5 minute tram ride from the city centre at fraction of the price of staying in the city.

What a great place to stay! Very stylish, all the creature comforts, friendly and helpful hosts. Great eateries nearby and the tram on the doorstep. Something different and a bit special - highly recommended.

Very central, very quiet and very nice. Right on tram line between City and Toorak, close to parks and restaurants. Small but extremely clean rooms decorated in an attractive mix of antiques and minimalist style. The small front bar provides atmosphere, drinks, snacks, reading material and a very adequate continental breakfast. The only slight disappointment was the roof terrace which does not have the ambience that the rest of the property does. We will certainly stay there again.
I will highly reccommend this hotel to my friends. The room that I stayed in was very spacious and had a big & comfy bed and a window overlooking to the courtyard. The location is quiet and convenient as the tram stop is just right in front of the hotel. Service was very good and the breakfast that was included was simply excellent!!!

Tram stops (to & from the city) at the front door. Close to the Botanical Gardens. Minimal eateries in close proximity ... but the tram stop opposite the Hotel will take you along Toorak Road. No elevator - stairs are it! Great view of Melbourne City from the roof area.

Charming little hotel with lovely rooms. Staff really friendly. Coffee is good. Nice eating places around the corner and S Yarra is only a short walk. Highly recommended.
The Hatton is a friendly,welcoming hotel to stay at.There was some lovely touches which made our stay very enjoyable- eg, aromatherapy soap & shampoo in the bathroom, freshly squeezed juice and sheeps milk yoghurt for breakfast- along with an interesting selection of breads.
The hotel is very well located. The rooms are spacious and have a good bath. The fact that you can open the windows is excellent. I propose to stay there whenever I again travel to Melbourne.
