Classy and comfortable establishment with friendly staff.
Leaving our kids at home, and having a weekend to ourselves for the first time in 13 years, we were looking forward to this very much. When we got back from dinner, we went back to our small, but comfortable, 'Traditional Room' and had showers. To sum up the shower: terrible. We were aware that it is an old building, but we did expect the water to have SOME pressure, and maintain it's temperature once adjusted. Having a shower, standing in a small narrow and slippery bath, was not a pleasure ... it was a chore. The staff were very helpful, curteous and pleasant. Overall the stay was a very pleasant stay ... except for the shower.

We were treated like royalty. As we walked in the door the doorman took my bag to send to our room. Morning tea was sumptious, a real treat for our 35th wedding anniversary. Room service was brought by a butler fully decked out in top hat and tails. All round a wonderful experience.

We recently stayed for 2 nights' at the Windsor Hotel and what a wonderful experience. The service was just amazing from the time we arrived until the morning we left. Staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel has wonderful ambience and so well situated.

The Hotel Windsor is not just another hotel trying to portray a bland corporate image. It has great character a great heart and staff who are extremely pleasant and will do all they can to assist. Enjoyed our 4 night stay.
The Hotel Windsor Melbourne is a grand old hotel. The room was great value for the price we paid. We will definately to come back.

If you love the timeless elegance of an old world hotel the Windsor will suit you. It may not have the bells and whistles of a new hotel but it makes up for it in history. Go wandering so you can view the original artworks and restored decorative features throughout the Hotel. High Tea, although pricely, is a once in a lifetime experience.
A unique experience to stay in a hotel in which the constitution was drafted. The hotel may not have had all the latest facilities of a modern hotel but it has a unique charm which more than makes up for what it lacks. It's a Melbourne Icon.

We had a wonderful night at the Windsor. It is in a fantastic location, close to the city. The staff were very nice and friendly and our room was nice and clean. I would stay there again!
The staff at the windsor were very friendly. The traditional room could do with a bit of a freshen up but was adequate and comfortable for our stay. The location and the facilities cannot be beaten...
