The Imperial Boat House Hotel, Koh Samui, offers a unique blend of delightful illusion and funfilled reality. Thirty-four authentic teak rice barges, imaginatively converted into two-storey luxury boat suites, and "moored" on land just metres from picturesque Choeng Mon beach. Imagine being lulled to sleep by the lapping of waves and the murmur of sea breezes in the luxurious stateroom of a boat...and then awaking to find you're still on terra firma. Each suite features a sunbathing deck, living room, dining corner, tea & coffee making facilities, fully fitted sky-lit bathroom and luxuriously appointed bedroom. The second part of the hotel comprises of eight southern style low-rise buildings, forming three sides of a square around landscaped gardens full of fragrant tropical flowers. All 182 spacious, airy rooms have private balconies overlooking the gardens and sea. At the bottom of the gardens a unique boatshaped swimming pool sits invitingly beside the beach. Lovers of water sports can enjoy sailing, canoeing, snorkelling and windsurfing in the bay. For those who want to explore further afield, trips can be arranged to many of the beautiful off-shore islands. The Imperial Boat House Hotel is also eminently suitable for incentive groups. It's one of the few hotels on the island large enough to take groups and it offers marvellous locations for theme parties.

i have stayed at this hotel three times , it is my favorite hotel, staff are great nothing to complain about
The resort property is on the beach and on flat land which makes moving through the resort easy. The location is great, being in the middle of Choeng Mon Beach. This area is not overly populated like other areas of Samui. It offers the right balance of views & tranquility for a relaxing holiday. The room was spacious while the balcony was large with views of the beautiful and manicured gardens. Staff friendliness and service was OK, but not as good as other resorts on Samui where I have previously stayed. I will definately be returning to Choeng Mon Beach, but will probably choose another resort in the area.
Premier rooms offer 39 sq.m and balcony 13 sq.m with garden view, one double bed or two twins beds. Hotel building in the garden close to the beach. The room is nicely decorated in Contemporary design and the standard amenities.
Boat Suite offer 91 sq.m. Authentic rice barges converted into suites: separate living room, dining areas and master bedroom, sky-lit bathroom.
Lovely hotel on quiter Chong mon beach, abit far from Chaweng (about an hour and a half to walk to the main beach, but only a 10 minute drive). 2 gorgeous pools, great breakfast. Ideal if you are looking for something abit quiter away from the action in Chaweng.
