The Imperial Samui Hotel is an unusual hybrid: a Mediterranean-style resort offering Thai-style hospitality and comfort. All 155 rooms face the sea, taking full advantage of the cool breezes that waft in from the Gulf of Thailand. The resort boasts two swimming pools; one set high on the hill, the other so close to the sea that, viewed from certain angles, it actually appears to merge with the sea. Apart from the resort's natural charm, it also offers a full range of water sports including sailing, windsurfing, snorkelling and canoeing. Come nightfall, dining under the stars on one of the open-air terraces is a perfect prelude to the night. The entertainment area is conveniently located just a few minutes down the road.

The Hotel is on a steep hill. Moving around the resort involves many steps, although the resort grounds are superb with manicured gardens, ponds, fountains and an abundance of trees which are among the best on the Island. Overall the hotel was excellent. The facilities were great while the beach and beach pool are the best in the Chaweng Noi area. Our room was spacious with a beautiful sea-viewing balcony. We had an issue with the air-conditioner short circuiting and sparking while in the room. This was promptly repaired. All Staff were professional, very helpful and especially friendly. Room service was prompt. We would definitely consider another stay at the Imperial Samui Hotel.
