"We stayed at this hotel on Saturday 13th December 2008 for one night. I booked and paid for an executive room which was very nice and well equipped but overpriced. There was no heating so went to reception and went back up to room to find that a convector heating had been left. The telephone didn't work. The breakfast was poor with milk unlabelled. Getting there: Road:
From A40(M) to A501, Marylebone Road, take the slip road on the left before the underpass to Holborn. Travel down Gower Street and Bloomsbury Street A400. Turn left into New Oxford Street onto Bloomsbury Way. Thistle Bloomsbury hotel is on left after St. Georges Church. Car parking is available at the NCP on Museum Street at an additional charge, residents of the hotel have a discounted rate.

Rail:
Arrive at Kings Cross, St Pancras and Euston, then a 10 minute Taxi ride (1 mile).

Underground: Holborn (Central and Piccadilly lines). Tottenham Court Road (Central and Northen lines).

Air:
Heathrow Airport (14 miles): take the Piccadilly Line Underground (45 minutes) or Heathrow Express train (15min), £10, or take a taxi (1 hour).

From Gatwick take the Gatwick Express to Victoria (30 min), £10.

From Stanstead take the Express train to Liverpool street, then travel by Tube or taxi to the hotel.
