"This hotel makes a statement from the minute you walk in the front doors. It is elegant and luxurious and has service and staff to match. We could find no faults at all. Tha added facilities of the Club Room were excellent and would be a godsend to any business travellers. The Melba restaurant deserves the reputation it has already in Melbourne as the buffet breakfast was better than any we have had before. The Langham Blissful beds are just that - have never slept better in a hotel anywhere in the world! Definitely will be staying at other Langhams internationally. Even when we left a set of keys in a drawer it was no problem - one phone call when we realised and they were Express posted that afternoon. Cannot recommend this hotel more highly. "Reception staff were fantastic. Very helpful and great customer service. This is one of the features of the Langham Hotel. Their staff are wonderful.
The location is also fantastic. The hotel overlooks the river, and there is access to great restaurants, bars, theatres, etc.
We ordered room service, which was good (food was Ok but I wouldn't rave about it. One dish we ordered was lasagne and the pasta was a little tough to eat (undercooked). The room service itself (the staff) were fantastic.
I thought the room decor was a little "tired" given that there are a number of new hotels in the area, the competition is probably quite high now for customers. " - Anonymous
