Getting there:A drive to The Legend Resort , Cherating takes only 45 minutes from Kuantan Airport and 30 minutes from Kuantan Town and Gebeng Industrial Estate, the largest industrial estate in Pahang. From Kuala Lumpur (KL), choose between taking a leisurely 2.5-hour drive on the scenic East Coast Expressway (ECE) or hop onto any of the three flights that ply between KL and Kuantan daily; flight time is only 40 minutes.

A good resort hotel right on the beach. Recent upgrades of rooms have made the place a lot more enjoyable. The only draw back for a business traveller is that there is no internet in the further accommodation wing. Service is excellent and friendly, food is reasonable and it does serve alcohol. A great place for a family break as the grounds are extensive and cater to all tastes.
Legend is an old hotel and need a major renovation soon. The beach is nice and it is at a good location
Pros: Nice & cosy place to unwind. 3 swimming pools for the kids and adults to enjoy. Suitable for family getaway, reunions etc. Acceptable service anbd friendly staffs. Cons: No carpet for the floor.
Best hotel during our Malaysian trip so far. Great service without being overbearing. Really friendly well trained staff. Other places could do well to take not. Loved their last minute low rates. Hope this doesn't cause them to raise theirs.
This hotel is suitable for family with kids and the facilities are kids friendly. They have pools dedicated to adults and kids and they have batik painting area as well. The hotel large compound is directly facing the South China Sea and the beautiful beach.
