Getting there:By Train: The Hotel is located directly beside the railway station in Killarney. There are 4-5 trains daily from Dublin with links from Cork, Limerick, Galway, Waterford. From Dublin 199 Miles/300 km From Cork 55 miles/88 km From Shannon 83 miles/133 km Kerry airport about 12 miles from Killarney.

Stayed here for a friends wedding (also on in the hotel). Excellent rooms, very well looked after. excellent breakfast. Staff were very friendly. Would stay here again. Would recommed if staying in Killarney for a weekend with partner. Could be a little expensive if there for longer.

Staff very friendly when we stayed there over St. Patricks weekend. Rooms are old but fresh and clean. Foyer and downstairs all refurbished and very nice. Breakfast buffet style was ok and did the job but nothing to write home about. Very central to killarney town with parking adjacent.

A magnificent experience ! From the moment we approached the steps and the lovely porter rushed down to help us with a smile to the amazing smoked salmon breakfast to the glorious rooms and the undercover pool set in breathtaking gardens... we will definately return
We were very pleased with our three day stay at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and service excellent. There are very extensive, well kept gardens and excellent leisure facilities. The Garden Room Restaurant cuisine is to a very high standard without being overpriced. The hotel has recently been taken over by new owners and the only downside is the very unsympathetic alterations they have made to the lobby and reception area and to the bar furniture.
Nice hotel, spacious clean rooms, leisure facilities were great, enjoyable stay some tips for the hotel - make sure to bring all documents from this website when booking to avoid hassle. (including voucher and seperate invoice) - upon leaving the hotel's car park go to reception to get a new ticket, this needs to be done every day.(otherwise you cant get out!) other comment: i felt that the restaurant "peppers" which is located in the hotel is overrated, food was fine, but options on the menu are limited, and prices werent great for what your getting. there is nicer food options down the town
