Getting there:From the North on SH2, enter Masterton town boundary 50k zone and take the 2nd road on the left into Third Street. Travel to the end and turn left into Totara Street. Take the first on the left in Titoki Street and we are the second house on the left. From the South on SH2, afer the roundabout with the Public Swimming Pools continue along SH2, take the 4th road on the right into Third Street, continue to the end and turn left into Totara Street. Take the next left into Titoki Street and we are the 2nd house on the left.
Check-in Procedure:If Day Spa Reception is closed please call at the main front door to be greeted and shown to your room. Unable to take Guests after 10pm arrival sorry
Car parking:Historic 1910 Manor House set amonst trees in a quiet leafy suberb of Masterton. With an award winning day Spa on site The Manor has both budget and luxury accommodation. Perfect way to escape the stresses of city living. In the south wing accommodation is backpackers but basic with individual rooms but shared toilets, showers and guest kitchen. Free parking on the premises.

Very friendly and relaxed. The bed could be more comfortable. Overall, a homely experience. Value for money.
Stayed in the romantic getaway suite. Very nice but a little on the small side. Best shower I've had in hotel yet. Room is right up against the hallway so quite noisy when people walked past. Didn't feel completely private because of this. Owner is lovely, offered to iron my shirt. Complementary bubbles and chocolate. Nice French bubbles too. Maybe don't stay there if your thinking of going bump in the night with your romantic other unless you don't mind others hearing.
last 2 rooms available for Golden shears. Walking distance to event. Budget room fully furnished with sink in room. bedding and towels provided. Shared self contained kitchen, laundry lounge with sky tv and wireless internet. Shared toilet and shower/ bath facilities.
Sound proofing is a problem around the Brookleigh Suite apartment area when quests require some peace and quiet, I beleive this problem needs to be addressed and isolated from the backpackers/hotel area when access is required from the corridor outside the bedroom areas, the grounds need a lot of work when viewed from the bedroom area and the cleanliness was of some concern.
THis place has lots of potential just needs some better organising and definitely some more attention to cleanliness, especially in the shared kitchen.
This is an old historic building which was formerly a hospital and an old people's home. It has great potential, and there is a lot of work to be done. It is in a quiet area. The bedrooms are cosy and well furnished, the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. The owners have plans for upgrade, and are enthusiastic and good hosts.
