Once a townhouse, the Mowbray was converted over 65 years ago into a 13 bedroom guest house. We are located in the heart of Eastbourne's theatreland and conference district and 30 seconds from the seafront. Eastbourne's town centre is less than 10 minutes walk away.
All of our bedrooms and public areas have been refurbished and remodeled to a high standard offering a range of different accommodation type to suit every kind of traveler.

Getting there:
To find The Mowbray by road, from the A27 or A22, follow the signs to Eastbourne seafront. Turn right on the roundabout at the Sovereign Leisure Centre and follow the road along the seafront. You will travel along Royal Parade, Marine Parade and Grand Parade as you pass the pier on your left hand side. Lascelles Terrace is the 7th turning on the right after you have passed the pier - the turning being immediately after the Eastbourne Centre (formerly The T & G building). Onstreet parking is available in Lascelles Terrace and neighbouring roads. The Mowbray is at the end of Lascelles Terrace on the left hand side. Alternatively, trains depart from Victoria every 30 minutes.
Check-in Procedure:
Check-in is from 2pm. Unless previously arranged our last check-in is at 9pm. Please contact us on 01323 720012 to arrange a later check-in.
Car parking:
Like many establishments in Eastbourne, parking is by way of on street parking. There are pay and display bays around the building. DO NOT PUT MONEY IN THE MACHINE. Your stay includes a FREE parking permit that allows you to park for unlimited hours in the bay. Please come to reception and get a permit.
Child Policy:
Children are welcome at the Mowbray. Some larger rooms are able to take cots and Z-beds. Z-beds will be charged extra. You must check before booking.
