Amazing hotel, fantastic rooms - raised bath and outdoor shower are a real plus! The pools are huge and often empty. Much of the time it feels as if you are the only guest in the hotel. The breakfasts are good. The restaurant and spa are very expensive compared to what you will pay elsewhere - but that is to be expected. The shuttle service to Hoi An is helpful, although there is a big break in the middle of the day when no service is available (taxis are available). All in all a fantastic experience.
A luxury designer hotel with the emphasis on design rather than practicality. The bedrooms are beautiful with sunken baths, i-pods, flat-screen tvs, but lack enough lighting and have steps in the places you least expect. The food is excellent and the team led by the Australian chef do a fantastic job at turning out top quality dishes always with an air of calm.
Rates are for 2 persons. The well-appointed individual One-Bedroom Villas showcases luxurious indoor and outdoor sitting areas. A raised platform is set in the middle of the room enclosed in the evening under the canopy of a cozy mosquito net, and is stlylishly bordered by generous passageways and ample lounge areas. This section serves as a room within a room; and features a king-sized bed, writing desk, divan and long eggshell-lacquered bath within. The lavish bathroom opens out into a private garden with an outdoor shower.
