Getting there:Conveniently halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. The Nambucca Motel is a popular stopover on your journey north or south of the Pacific Highway. Travelling north from Port Macquarie: We are the first motel on your right hand side. Prepare to indicate right once you see our big highway signage in bright blue and yellow, another 20meters and you’ll see our entrance sign. Turn right down the palm tree driveway. Travelling south from Coffs Harbour: Remain on the Pacific Hwy, ignore all left turnoffs into Nambucca town centre. You’ll pass KFC on your right continue until you hit the 80kmph speed zone and we are a 1 minute drive after the bend on the left hand side.

Car parking:Located on 15 acres, there is ample parking for large vehicles. Guest parking directly in front of room.
Child Policy:12 years inclusive and under is our child policy.
Friendly reception. Neat and tidy room. Showing age in some areas. Comfortable bed. Would stay here again.
Avoid at all costs. The owner, Melody, was not particularly welcoming on arrival. The room was the most expensive garden room, and was very jaded, although very clean. The aircon could not cool the room down, although apparently new. The fan was so noisy we couldn't use it, so we had to leave the door open all night for air. We advised the owner that we wouldn't stay a 2nd night & she OK but we wouldn't get a refund. When we suggested a part refund as an act of goodwill she refused point blank. We persisted & she turned & walked away. No customer service AT ALL. The cleaning staff were lovely though. I felt sorry for them. I rate it as 1/10.

The motel has a good position on the river bank although it was raining when we arrived.Far enough away from the highway not to be too much bother.The bed was comfortable and the shower was OK.The room was a little narrow and the walls were brick whitewashed a(little basic for the money paid).We did not stay for breakfast but it did seem to have an acceptable spread.
Excellent location and very pretty setting. Restaurant food and service was great. Our stay was very comfortable, although we found the bed's mattress to be very lumpy, saggy and needed replacing. Be sure to say hello to the resident cockatoo...he loves a scratch!
