We really enjoyed the Room!! The jacuzzi, the view of the falls, and the lights on the Falls were Terriffic.

it has a great veiw of both falls, location is close to al l shopping malls and fallsview casino, In that price range its really worth , the cleaningness and staff is great.
The rooms we were allocated were on the 1st floor without a view, very misleading description stating falls side but with no view of the falls, We were disappointed to note that the carpark, wifi etc were all additional charges. Staff not so friendly as i had grown accustomed to during the rest of my stay in Canada. While the room was comfortable the experience overall was disappointing

The room was wonderful, I can just sit at the window and stare at the Falls all day and night. Location was perfect. With Arbys annexed to it was wonderful. Would definitely recommend it.
Great location - worth paying the few extra dollars for the falls view rooms, only about 200m/200yards as the crow flies to the falls. Nice hotel, parking and internet for a fee. Would definitely stay again.
We were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel was very clean, staff members were extremely helpful, friendly and informative and everything else about our stay was pleasant. $15/day for parking isn't ideal, but that's the norm nowadays. Overall, was a great experience. Great value for our money.
The up front cost for the rooms were great - but everything else was an extra - cribs, parking, wireless internet access, food (no dinner/breakfast included).... The rooms were typical and clean - good service, though the beds were a little tired and soft... The mechanical components of the building were quite loud as well (water, toilets, heating.cooling) which was very noticable at night. Overall - above average to good - great views of the falls - close to main attractions.
While Booking they provide me on top floor. Unfortunately they did not give us even middle floor. They give us 3rd floor where we are not able to overlook of Nigara falls. For parking they charged $ 15.00 which normally free for the people who booked directly to them which is unfair to Hotel Club member. Customer Service was very poor. tks
try and get a room overlooking the falls not the fall side view as you will only see alittle bit of water through the trees. good service and easy time upgrading to another room
The hotel was excellent in all but two areas, one, they have no facilities for guests to either do their own laundry or a link to a commercial laundry to provide this service. two, first time travellers to Canada should be warned any specials do not include up to 4 taxes, which can add 20, 30 dollars easily.
- excellent views - clean hotel - good situation - free internet in the rooms - parking is a bit expensive (CA$15) although cheaper parking is available in the area 2-3 mns walk
Thanks for the room. It was a cheap night that served our purpose. We were a little dissappointed not to have a small fridge or even any cold water in the room.

The view of the falls was perfect!
Was a spectacular view of the falls from our hotel room on the 7th floor. We were very satisfied. Hotel staff was very accommodating when we asked for extra pillows and towels for our room. They even called a cab for us on our departure day even though it was 6:15 in the morning. It was a memorable experience. I highly recommend The Oakes Hotel and have to our friends. It is truly a hidden jewel.
