Info shows that the studio room is self-contained but actually it is just the basic hotel room so upgraded to executive room with extra 50. Great view and comfy bed though.
Renovations meant that there was limited restaurant service available. However the connection with a nearby hotel was appreciated. Well located with good access to the Brisbane River, walking and bike paths and a good ferry service to the CBD.

A very nice Hotel to stay in
The walls are very thin so you can hear into next rooms and also traffic noise
Great Hotel. Lovely views of the river. Perfect
Good all round Hotel, within walking distance to Story Bridge Hotel and in a quieter & safer part of town!
We had a lovely stay. Everyone in Brisbane was very friendly and helpful, including the taxi drivers!!
The point hotel is a little way to walk (15 mins across the Story Bridge) or 5 mins to the citly in a water taxi, but it is worth the trip, the price includes breakfast and it is very good, the staff are willing to help and are very friendly.
Wonderful hotel, great position near the river for easy access to the city via the water ferry. So convenient to everything and everywhere. This is the third time we have stayed there and will definitely return again.
The beuffet breakfast was delicious & the king size beds were very comfortable.
this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in Australia. best value and great location. very friendly and helpful staff. many thanks. we will return.
Very good sized suite with large sitting balcony's giving super views over river and bridge. Washer, drier and microwave provided, no hob cooker. Breakfast was 'unsophisticated' and cooking looked 'clumsy' Guests breakfast 'remains' left on landing for most of the day.
This hotel would be one of the best that I have ever stayed in. The rooms were very clean and the view - spectacular. The position of the hotel is great - out of the city centre - but only a ferry ride across from the main CBD. The view of the Story Bridge at night was wonderful. The cafe / restaurant in the foyer provided an excellent range of food and very moderate prices for Brisbane. Can not fault this hotel and we will certainly stay there again.
We thought this Hotel was absolutely fantastic and it really made our stay in Brisbane very enjoyable. We left our car at the hotel for 3 days and travelled around on the excellent river ferries which you catch only a 3 minute walk from the hotel and the cheapest way of getting from one place to another. ( MAGNIFICENT )
Great for what I wanted.
Helpful staff, nice 1 bedroom apartment with deck and view. Very easy to drive to from airport, excellent parking and breakfast, close to the ferries. Would definitely recommend to others.
the hotel is on Kangaroo Point so not in the center city. However, it is easy and enjoyable to get to the main part of the city by the ferry system. It was a pleasant way to start a day. And the ferry connected you to the CityCat which serviced more areas.
Great hotel - wonderful views, very modern, excellent condition and close to city. Had breakfast there each days which surprised me with its wide range and good quality. Only gripe is that internet access at $25 a day is very expensive.
I would recommend this hotel - the staff were very helpful and a good breakfast was included in the price of the accommodation. We booked some time ago - chosing this hotel because it was within walking distance of the Gabba. My husband then broke his leg and was wheelchair bound - so things were not so simple. The Point has great rooms designed for disabled people - and (with a surcharge) we were able to transfer into one of these rooms. All worked out well - and everyone was very helpful.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff - I was impreesed by the availability of 24 hour room service with a wide choice
