its the right choice that upgrade the room to lake view deluxe! Great 180 lake view, nice comfort room , free wifi and breakfast, ! what else i can say? The only thing to criticize is the cleaner throw our cloths and sleeper suit on our suit case.. they should at least place the clothes on the bed in order.. But overall i will highly recommend this hotel to everyone

The Rees was the best place we stayed at during our 9 day trip to NZ. Th accommodations were clean, modern and convenient. Although not in town, it was a nice 30 minute walk into town. They provide a free shuttle into town that runs 8,9,10,11,17,18,19,20, and 21 hours from the hotel and 11:15, 17:15,18:15,19:15,20:15, and 21:15 back to the hotel. The views from our room and bathroom were magnificent. The bathroom was modern, clean, had heated floor tiles, jetted tub and great shower stall. The hotel also provides a great laundry room for guests to use for free including laundry detergent.

Excellent hotel, highly recommended, particularly for longer stays. Rooms were fantastic. Services such as gym weren't very good. Concierge fabulous. A kilometer or 2 from the CBD. Fabulous views. Restaurant excellent.

Well appointed suites, not hugely spacious but comfortable for two people and it didn't matter anyway as the stunning views over the lake and towards the Remarkables were simply the best - easy to enjoy a wine on the balcony at the end of the day! Ate breakfast at the hotel restaurant once. Lovely selection for continental or cooked options. Free internet a nice touch. Tasteful and stylish furniture in room. 5 minute drive or 25 minute lakeside walk into central Queenstown or Frankton in the other direction. Definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Queenstown.

This hotel has nice rooms and beautiful views. However, there were a couple of things that did not meet expectation. On the day of arrival in the late afternoon we went down to the bar which is a lovely spot just adjacent to the reception. We were the only people in the bar and had not sat down for 2 minutes when a staff member was vacuuming around our feet! We ordered an item from the bar menu to have with our drinks, "Nuts and almonds toasted in Central Otago olive oil and rocksalt" Well, I know what I was thinking, "freshly roasted warm nuts, tossed in olive oil etc". What a mistake! We were served a tiny dish of almost stale nuts, just obviously tipped straight out of a packet. This cost $5.00. Room service also needs a shake-up - they cleaned our room in the morning one day and were back at 3.30pm asking if we knew if this room had been cleaned! They also clean far too early. This is a lovely place, but for the money, some issues need visiting by the management.

Beautiful hotel in an awesome location. Friendly helpful staff. the room was very comfortable and spacious. The hotel is a 30 minute walk along the lake shore from town. Easy transport links make this hotel a good choice for those looking for seclusion within easy reach of Queenstown.

The Rees Hotel is a lovely place to stay. It could be improved by offering room service and being a little more flexible with extended checkouts.

It was simply amazing to stay at the new Rees Hotel in Queenstown. The facilities, setting, decor, amenities and total luxury provided us with a top rate experience - one that we will return again for. Our room was stylish, spacious, totally modern, and had textures, colours and design to impress. Well done Rees.

Queenstown. Rees Hotel and Appts. 1 bed(2 actually) appt with lake-view. Super modern lounge- all appliances in well fitted kitchen including private laundry. Bedroom fab with lakeview from bed. TV in bedroom as well as lounge. Broadband fair price. 20 minute lakeside walk to town centre. Good bar and restaurant facilities- gym on site. Stay again? Where else? Buildings works not yet totally complete however but shouldn’t deter.

Our room was fabulous. The room was huge, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a heated floor (very luxurious). It was very quiet and the view was stunning. I would definitely stay again (hopefully for a little longer next time). The service was very pleasant.

We stayed at this hotel 6 month ago and had really great time there. This time, we found out that quality of service went down. People working there not like 6 month ago, they are now too busy (although I do not know why) and are not communicating with custormers. Plus, they were running out car parks. We did not have a car park for the first night. Quality of morning tea also not good anymore (I would say very average). Very dissapointed.
