Getting there:From York St heading south, turn right onto Grey St West (at the Town Hall) and drive west for 500m. The Rocks is on the right hand side. Look for a granite sign and large limestone wall.
Check-in Procedure:Check in is between 3pm and 6pm. Please phone and make arrangements if you require an early checkin or will be arriving late.
Car parking:on site parking is available.
Child Policy:The Rocks is unsuitable for children under the age of 12 years.
A great place to spend a relaxing time. It is a heritage building in great locating with an historic feel. The staff are very helpful and serve a lovely breakfast.
This hotel, while a beautiful building with a capital V View, is not worth even half the price it costs. There in no room service, or staff help of any kind. Breakfast was late and badly made and there were ants in the bathroom. Even the in-room facilities were sub-par, with a kettle that made a terrible noise and no rubbish bin. Bathroom supplies were not refreshed and there are dogs that live on the property part time. Great view, bad service. For three stars, maybe a pass, but five stars? No way. I do not recommend this hotel at all. A great disappointment.
The only room with access to the verandah, this room has stunning views of Princess Royal Harbour and our expansive gardens and grounds. The four-poster queen sized bed and matching furniture has been made with Tasmanian Blackwood. Coupled with original maritime pine floorboards, this suite is designed to ensure a quiet elegance to enable guests to enjoy their surroundings. The ensuite bathroom has a cast iron, clawfoot bath, large separate shower and jarrah wash stand.
This beautiful suite offers guests something truly special with its lovely morning warmth and relaxing colour scheme. A magnificent wrought iron King bed features in this room to ensure our guests a great nights sleep. The Campion Suite also has a TV and DVD, reverse cycleair conditioning, ironing facilities, luxury robes, Tea and coffee facilities and phone/internet connection. The ensuite has a large shower, beautiful Jarrah washstand and fabulous heated towel rail.
This spacious room is the largest of our stunning suites. A King bed with a locally made jarrah bed head, can also be split to a twin share if requested. The ensuite bathroom has a special 20 jet spa bath and a separate shower, both of which easily accommodate 2 people.
