The Royal Garden Kowloon Hotel Hong Kong Guest Reviews

3.8 out of 5

I stayed there couple years ago. The restaurant is nice, but the room is quite small, the bed is small even I see the vintage facilities in room. Unfortunatelly, the time I stay there was renovation time, so inconvenience a bit

3.4 out of 5

Well not my first stay there but indeed it could be a very good hotel if staff was more helpful and not only promising. The only nice part of the hotel is the sky club but if you are in Hong Kong for business you won't enjoy this a lot. Internet is expensive so as breakfast. Not speaking of restaurants which are very expensive. Overall even if you get a good rate, just be aware everything is very expensive, laundry, room service, intenet, bar, breakfast, restaurants and this can totally more than double the bill. Rooms are average compared to some other new hotels around and getting old looking now. Renovation would not be a luxury.

Stayed in a single room with king-sized bed. I like this hotel because its rooms are much larger than other similar rooms in the newer hotels in hong kong. Location is central and it has a very good chinese restaurant. Its Martini bar is cozy too.

i have stayed in this hotel on may occasions, and always found it to be of good quality and service. i was given an automatic upgrade to a better room, without asking. the rooms are comfortable and clean. some exteria upgrade work is taking place right now, which adds a little noise. still a nice place to stay.

We booked a twin room with two beds. We arrived, and they only had one room available with a double bed. After a bit of haggling, where they suggested I sleep with my friend in the double bed, they gave us a trundle bed and agreed to upgrade us to a suite for the final 4 nights of our stay. Overall, very good, but a shaky start!

Excellent facilities and service. Rooms are a good size with very comfortable beds. In house meals and buffets whilst being good quality are a bit overpriced. Didnt like the fact that you had to pay extra to use gym and swimming pool.

I stayed here 20+ years ago and I was happy to see that it was as excellent this time as it was then. Service from staff was brilliant, they couldn't do enough for you. Location was good, short walks to restaurants and shopping. Just a 15 min taxi drive from the train station that takes you to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just a short walk from the East Tsim Sha Tsui KCR station for quick connection to Shenzen and just 5 minutes walk from Nathan Road .. this is a convenient location.

A quiet haven in a busy city, we looked forward to coming back to the room each night. The view from the roof top pool is spectacular, particularly at night and the service was excellent.

This hotel was wonderful. The rooms are luxurious and very comfortable. The swimming pool on the roof is fantastic and one evening we were privileged to view fireworks from there followed by a magnificent eletrical thunderstorm. The location is great being two minutes walk from the fast ferry to Hong Kong Island and close to shops and restaurants. We stayed there twice - the first time was midweek which was not only cheaper but we were also upgraded to a king-size room with a harbour view. The service is excellent and the hotel food that we enjoyed was also outstanding.

Excellent hotel and very good size room, though bath is bit small. Good location, away from traffic so don't get disturbed by vehicle noise, walking distance to KCR/MTR and TST centre. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Garden Kowloon. It was very clean, the staff were fantastic and the location was great. We had the breakfast buffet at the restaurant on the third floor and we also had dim sum at the chinese restaurant both were fantastic. The rooms were of an average size, beds were large, comfy and clean. The hotel is close to Nathan road as well as the ferry station. I would defiantely recommend this hotel.
