The Royal Hotel & Leisure Centre Wicklow

"The first room we were offered was a smoking room but this was quickly changed to a compact room at the rear of the hotel. Car parking appeared to be a problem for a start but space was soon found in the adjacent car park for just 5 euros per day. The staff in all areas of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very good and the dining room quite comfortable. We felt the hotel was good value for money." - alan bull

"We enjoyed our visit. The Hotel is in an excellent location, on the main street, a short walk from the beach. we enjoyed the meals we had there. The pool and gym were great. On the down side they must have been short of cleaning staff, in regard to the hoovering of carpeted areas. It was quite noticeable." - Gilbert Young
